Boogieville AHSCS

Although this is one of the closest races to home, I've actually only ridden here once before at the 2006 AHSCS race.  It's a pretty nice place that has a mix of fast, flowing trails and some pretty rocky, technical stuff.

They let us know on the line that there would be a $100 holeshot award and I figured I should probably try to get that!  Luckily my bike has been starting great lately and I was able to get around the first turn in good position and grab the cash!  It was pretty smooth sailing after that as I just tried to put my head down and ride my own race.  With Steve Leivan coming down from Missouri to race this event, I knew I couldn't slack off or he'd be right there on my rear fender looking for a way around!

Thankfully I was able to keep it on two wheels all day and bring home the win.  Steve took second place with Bryan Vaughn placing third.
