Sturkie Road AHSCS

My goal for this weekend was to get in a lot of riding and basically wear myself out.  Since Sturkie was having practice on Saturday afternoon I figured that would be a good chance to get out there and spend some time on the bike.  I put in about 2 hours of riding and then headed to town to get some rest.

I had hoped Sunday would go smoothly for me and it did early on.  I got a decent start and tried to just stay smooth over the rocky course.  Unfortunately I guess I wasn't smooth enough because on the 2nd lap I felt my tire go flat.  That really frustrated me because that makes three weekends in a row that it's happened now.

I spent the next 4 laps just trying to conserve the bike and get to the checkered flag.  I'm sure if my rear wheel could talk it wouldn't have many nice things to say about what I've put it through this year.  Hopefully things will go better from here on out.
